GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING

SLP provides geotechnical reports in accordance with European standard EUROCODE 7 for geotechnical design (SIST EN 1997–1: 2005). At interpretations and analyses we use rules and standards such as:
  • Rule of mechanical resistance and stability of structures (UL RS št. 101, 11. 11. 2005)
  • SIST EN 1990 Evrokod 0 – Basics of design
  • SIST EN 1997 Evrokod 7 – Geotechnical design
  • SIST EN 1998 Evrokod 8 – Designing seismic-resistant structures


For geotechnical analyses and reports we use software: PLAXIS 2D & 3D, Slide, Settle 3D, CPeT–IT, etc.

Pile design, Foundations design, Excavations design, Ground improvement design; GGU Reatain, GGU Settle, GGU Stability, Allpile, Apile.

The Pulse Echo Integrity Test is so quick and simple to execute that it permits checking all the foundation elements of a construction site for anomalies. It is performed with the Pile Integrity Tester™ on any type of concrete deep foundation. 

Pulse Echo Integrity Test is a non destructive pile testing method that verifies the integrity of driven concrete or timber piles, auger cast-in-place piles and drilled shafts. If major defects exist, the test estimates their magnitude and location; it may also determine pile length.

Our engineers provide training in field of Quality Assurance for Deep Foundation and are qualified instructors for Pile Dynamics Inc. (USA). SLP is also a representative of PDI, which is the world leader in Quality Assurance Systems for the Deep Foundation Industry.

In our team of experienced engineers we have also an EXPERT in field of the Dynamic Measurement and Analysis. The certificate is issued by the Pile Driving Contractors Association (PDCA) and Pile Dynamics, inc. (PDI)
